[ ::: ♥Keep_Mailing♥ ::: ]™ 8 Life-Threatening Illnesses That May Look Like Mild Ones...

A headache, runny nose, and rising fever are symptoms that are common to quite a few illnesses, and many times when we experience them or some of them, we diagnose ourselves and conclude that this is an illness that we've had in the past. Despite the familiarity with these symptoms, there are other symptoms that may indicate other illnesses that you should go to a specialist to diagnose. It is important to keep your doctor up-to-date with all the symptoms that you experience not just by diagnosing yourself - out of concern for your health -  because they are often far more serious than the common cold and flu.

2. Influenza

Flu symptoms have been known to us since childhood and include a runny nose, sneezing, tearing, and swelling of the eyelids. In most cases, the doctor's treatment will usually be only a few days of rest, taking fever-reducing painkillers containing acetaminophen or ibuprofen, as well as drinking plenty of water.

However, if there are other symptoms listed above, such as an increase in body temperature above 100.5 degrees Fahrenheit (40.6 Celsius), lack of appetite, dry cough and a rash that appears 3 days after onset of symptoms and up to 8 days later, than you probably have the measles and you need to see your doctor immediately and fill them in on all of these symptoms. The treatment for measles will include a blood test or a saliva test to confirm the diagnosis, rest and painkillers until complete recovery, and this is only if complications haven't developed.
