Grease stains out of clothes can be notoriously difficult to remove, but luckily, there are plenty of wonderful methods that can be used to remove those pesky stains. Below you will find 11 such methods that will ensure grease stains never bother you again.
Directions: 1. Cover the backside of the grease stain with dish soap. Rub it in slightly and then use large amounts of detergent. Leave it on for a couple of minutes. 2. Blast the grease stains with hot water. If you happen to have a high-pressure washer, throw it in there. If you don't, put it under a powerful shower for about 20 seconds. 3. Blot the grease stains with a paper towel. If any of the stain is still left, hopefully, it can be lifted out by a slight pressing. Do not rub, as this will rub the grease back in. 4. If the grease stain is still present, repeat step 1, scrub with a brush, add stain remover, and then place in the washing machine. 2. Baking Soda and Water Directions: 1. Create a paste using baking soda and water. Apply to the stain and let it rest until it's entirely dry. 2. Use a brush to remove the paste from your clothing. Check to see if the grease has been removed. If not, move on to step 3. 3. Give it another soap treatment by applying grease-fighting dish soap to the stain, then soak it in warm water for 20 minutes. Once the stain has gone, dry your clothes as normal. 3. Shampoo Directions: 1. Pour some shampoo onto the grease stains and then use a soft cloth to gently rub it in. 2. Leave it for 15 minutes, then wash off as normal. 3. Leave your clothing to air-dry. Directions: 1. Pour some cola on the stain and leave it here for around 2 hours. 2. Wash in the washing machine, and leave the clothing to air-dry. 9. Cheese-Whiz Directions: 1. Coat the grease stain in a thick layer of cheese-whiz. 2. Rub it in using your fingers, and then place it in the washing machine for a single wash. 10. Lestoil Directions: 1. Pour some lestoil onto the grease stain and leave it for 30 minutes. 2. Wash your clothes in the washing machine on a cold-water cycle. 3. If you're trying to remove grease from multiple clothes, simply add some lestoil in with your washing machine soap. 11. Cornstarch and Vinegar Directions: 1. Pour some cornstarch over the stains and leave for 30 minutes. Then brush off. 2. Dip a microfiber cloth into some vinegar, and slightly rub the grease stains until they have disappeared. 3. Leave to air-dry. |
