The question, when refers to time and where refers to space. Time makes sense only when it is marked by an event and space means where that event happened, simply the Space-time. One creates one's own events somewhere or one lives in one's own space-time. Matter means a frozen nano second of space-time. But one has to live continuously as the space-time continuum. You don't need advanced technology or mastery of Physics to know that you are part of the space-time continuum, creating your nano space-time and contributing to the general flow.
One is a station of conscious notice, notice that creates matter, the constituent of space-time. Your notice has no material shape, but it attributes shapes, the 3D shapes to the space-time. But your consciousness has no mathematics and its emanations, the various emotions cannot be quantified. The real cosmos has no 3D shape. When you make your mind blank, when you stop all thoughts, you join the cosmos. It is called meditation---becoming and feeling oneness with and in the Cosmos.
Today thanks to the holocaust on the Biosphere unleashed by economics, 1/3rd of the forests and the Biosphere in the forests is made extinct and the remaining is fast getting killed by Technology, life in reality has become agony, with the rapture of nature's symbiosis exterminated. All of us are in the big Rat's Race, the economic rat race where there is no destination in reality. When happiness and rapture, the basic feature of the Biosphere are eliminated by routinized holocaust, what exactly is the meaning and purpose of economics? Please make your Space-time meaningful by doing something that contributes to the health of nature. Refuse to be the economic person for some time.
