Abhi khawab se jaga hi tha k teri yaad aa gai,
tere hi tasavvur se rangeen meri zindgi ho gai,

Tanhai me guzar jayegi ye zindagi hamari,
ek hosla mila hi tha k teri yaad aa gai,

Shayad maut bhi khafa hai mere is naseeb se,
Dum nikal hi rha tha k teri yaad aa gai,

Tujhko bhul jayenge na lenge tera naam,
Ye faisla kiya hi tha k teri yaad aa gai…
