Do not Judge
What's on the Outside
Sometimes people are quick
To judge others,
When what you see
Isn't really all there.
People have different moods
Different personalities
Different desires,
So what you're really seeing
Is only a mask,
Of what others want you to see.
On the inside,
We all have the same desires,
A kind smile,
A warm heart,
A tender soul,
All wanting to be reached
On the inside.
We're all not perfect,
Only human,
We'll have ups and downs
Like a merry-go-round,
We'll make many mistakes.
But just remember,
The next time you see a person,
Do not judge what's on
The outside,
We could be having a bad day.
Try and see on the inside,
And you will see,
The kind smile,
The warm heart,
The tender soul,
Reaching out....
