For those who have not been to Nairobi in many years (or ever!)
Here is what it looks like today. Now you will know why many Kenyans want
to return and live there.
Look closely at the streets - clean Singapore style with no filth anywhere... and yes Kenya has struck oil, coal, titanium and iron ore since these shots were taken.
There are no photos of the 8 lane - super highways already under construction with Chinese help, but you can land jumbo jets on them.
And the biggest assets are the Kenyan people themselves - a very well educated population.
Schooling up to "A" levels has higher standards than the UK .
Now the Aga Khan - spiritual leader of the Ismailia community is building an Oxford/Cambridge level university in Arusha which is in Tanzania just on the border with Kenya .
It is already tipped to be the Harvard of Africa.
All children are artists. The problem is how to remain an artist once he grows up.
We make a living by what we get, but we make a life by what we give.
