which soars 1,017 feet above the ground, though visitors are just as likely to be

seen taking a dip in one of the many pools that form at the base of the waterfall.

Hogenakkal Waterfall (India)

Another truly spectacular series of waterfalls in India, this time in Tamilnadu. The photo below is part of a

huge complex of waterfalls in the middle of the Kaveri river (Dharmapuri area) which together make a pretty

breathtaking view and defintely worth a visit if you are in the area.
