These breathtaking photos capture the beauty of the U.S. - from Death Valley National Park in California to Mount Saint Helens in Washington.
They were taken by photographer Ryan Dyar, from Seattle, who spent a staggering seven years travelling across the country in a bid to capture the perfect landscapes.
'I try to bring a three-dimensional sense of life to a two-dimensional medium - almost as if you could walk into the frame,' said the 30-year-old, who uses a DSLR camera.
'Sometimes, it requires many nights of camping in the back-county waiting for the right conditions. There are even a few shots where it has taken me years of traveling back to the same location to get the ideal setting.
'I make images because I enjoy doing it. But if my images can bring awareness to protecting wilderness or even inspire a person to get out and see these areas for themselves, then that would be amazing.'
Mr Dyar's stunning photos include shots of Glacier National Park in Motana, Columbia River Gorge in Oregon and the Alvord Desert.
The photographer, who is a self-confessed wilderness addict, exhibits his work via his website: www.ryandyarphotography.com.
