[ ::: ♥Keep_Mailing♥ ::: ]™ 2015 - NOT A BAD YEAR FOR INDIA

2015 will be over in a few days. So while it seems like it was just

yesterday that the year began, we decided it's a good idea to look back and

introspect. And the result was not bad at all. 2015, of course, wasn't a perfect

year, but it did give us moments to be happy about. Take a look at 24 of these.

1. When Sania Mirza won at the US Open women's doubles.

Let's just say 2015 was her year, and so it became ours.

2. When Leander Paes won the US Open Mixed Doubles title.

3. When India launched its first dedicated space observatory, Astrosat.

he took over as Google's CEO.

8. When Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge, the greatest movie of all time,

 completed 20 years.

9. When Shah Rukh Khan turned 50, and proved that age is just a number.

10. When the land boundary agreement was passed in the Indian Parliament, and

we got a chance to solve territorial disputes with Bangladesh.

11. When the return of Bollywood's favorite onscreen couple,

Shah Rukh Khan and Kajol, was on the cards!

12. When the Defence ministry approved the induction of

women fighter pilots in the Indian Air Force.

13. When Indian Institute of Science made a smashing debut

among the world's top 100 universities.

14. When ISRO launched five British satellites. Way to go, India!

the Delhi elections with an absolute majority.

16. When Saina Nehwal became the world's number one badminton

player when she was least expecting it.

17. When humanity emerged, not once, but many times during the Chennai floods.

opted for an arranged marriage.

19. When 'transgender' was legally recognised as a third gender in a historic decision.

20. When Vijender Singh scored a Pro-Boxing hat-trick.

South Africa as captain, and left us speechless.
