The 56 Bhog to Lord Krishna . He used to take food eight times a day. Since he carried Gowardhan for seven days, he did not eat on these seven days and so, the people, who were saved from the fury of Indra , served Lord Krishna with 7 x 8 = 56 preparations. And they are:
