കാബൂള്‍ :  അസോസിയേറ്റഡ് പ്രസ്സിന്റെ വനിതാ ഫോട്ടോഗ്രാഫറായ ജര്‍മന്‍കാരിയാആനിയ നീഡ്രിങ്ഹൗസ്(48) സുരക്ഷാഉദ്യോഗസ്ഥന്റെ വെടിയേറ്റു മരിച്ചു. കൂടെയുണ്ടായിരുന്ന റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടര്‍ കാതി ഗാനോണിന് (60) ഗുരുതരമായി പരിക്കേറ്റു. 2014 ലെ പ്രസിഡന്റ് തിരഞ്ഞെടുപ്പ് റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട് ചെയ്യാനാണ് ഇവര്‍ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്താനില്‍ എത്തിയത്. കിഴക്കന്‍ അഫ്ഗാനിസ്താനിലെ താനി ജില്ലയിലാണ് സംഭവം. ഇവരുടെ കാറിന് അഫ്ഗാന്‍ നാഷണല്‍ ആര്‍മിയുടെയും പോലീസിന്റെയും സംരക്ഷണമുണ്ടായിരുന്നു. അഫ്ഗാന്‍ പോലീസിന്റെ വാഹനങ്ങളിലൊന്നില്‍ നിന്ന് പുറത്തിറങ്ങി മാധ്യമപ്രവര്‍ത്തകരുടെ കാറിന് നേരെ നടന്നടുത്ത നക്വീബുള്ള എന്ന പോലീസുകാരനാണ് ഇവര്‍ക്ക് നേരെ നിറയൊഴിച്ചത്. അന്‍ജ സംഭവസ്ഥലത്ത് വെച്ച് തന്നെ മരിച്ചു. ഇറാഖ് യുദ്ധസമയത്ത് പകര്‍ത്തിയ ചിത്രങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് 2005 ല്‍ ആനിയ നീഡ്രിങ്ഹൗസ് പുലിത്‌സര്‍ പുരസ്‌കാരം നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. ഇന്റര്‍നാഷണല്‍ വിമന്‍സ് മീഡിയ ഫൗണ്ടേഷന്റെ പുരസ്‌കാരവും നേടിയിട്ടുണ്ട്. .
