There is always a next.  Please do not worry as to what your parents will say or scold.  Face them boldly and tell them that you got less marks.  Tell them probably "I did not study well / I did not take it seriously / I thought I know the subject" and hence made a mistake.  Tell them that you have realised your mistake and will perform well next time.  I am sure they will not say a word and will hug you for your honesty and will sit with you and help you out in your studies.  All the best.
