ഉക്രൈനിലെ മലേഷ്യന്‍ വിമാനദുരന്തം

ആംസ്റ്റര്‍ഡാമില്‍ നിന്ന് കൊലാലംപുരിലേക്ക് പോവുകയായിരുന്ന മലേഷ്യന്‍ എയര്‍ ലൈന്‍സിന്റെ യാത്രാവിമാനം തകര്‍ന്ന് മരണപ്പെട്ടത് 295 പേര്‍. റഷ്യയുടെ വ്യോമാതിര്‍ത്തിക്ക് ഏതാണ്ട് 50 മൈല്‍ അകലെ യുെ്രെകന്‍ പ്രദേശത്താണ് വിമാനം തകര്‍ന്നുവീണത്. ബോയിങ് 777 വിഭാഗത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ട വിമാനമാണ് അപകടത്തില്‍പ്പെട്ടത്. ഒരു വന്‍ ദുരന്തത്തിന്റെ ഞെട്ടലില്‍ നിന്ന് വിമുക്തമാവും മുമ്പാണ് മലേഷ്യന്‍ എയര്‍ലൈന്‍സ് വീണ്ടും അപകടത്തിനിരയാകുന്നത്. ഇക്കഴിഞ്ഞ മാര്‍ച്ച് എട്ടിന് രാത്രി ജീവനക്കാരടക്കം 239 പേരുമായി കൊലാലംപുരില്‍നിന്ന് ബെയ്ജിങ്ങിലേക്ക് പുറപ്പെട്ട മലേഷ്യന്‍ എയര്‍ലൈന്‍സ് വിമാനം അന്ന് പുലര്‍ച്ചയോടെ അപ്രത്യക്ഷമായിരുന്നു. എന്നാല്‍, ഇതെവിടെയാണ് തകര്‍ന്നതെന്ന് കണ്ടെത്താനോ അവശിഷ്ടങ്ങള്‍ ശേഖരിക്കാനോ ഇതുവരെ കഴിഞ്ഞിട്ടില്ല. ദുരന്തദൃശ്യങ്ങള്‍ .

Liu Ling, whose husband was onboard Malaysia Airlines Flight MH370 which disappeared on March 8, cries during an interview with Reuters in Beijing July 18. The loss of MH17 is the second devastating blow for Malaysia Airlines this year, following the mysterious disappearance of Flight MH370 in March, which vanished with 239 passengers and crew on board on its way from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing. Liu said she 'felt more terrible after hearing about Thursday's incident and is now more certain that MH370 did not crash because the downed MH17 showed how a crash should look like'
