Journey the Top of Europe – Tour du Mont Blanc! The Alps are well known to all as they cover areas in south-central Europe through Slovenia, Italy, Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein, Switzerland, and France. Although it is beautiful along its entire length, there is one section that many tourists look up to, and that is Mont Blanc. The Tour du Mont Blanc or TMB is the most popular long distance walk in Europe, circling Mont Blanc and covering a distance of 170 km. One person who took on the TMB is Arune Meistaite. It took Meistaite 9 days to travel the 170 km, and she returned with some amazing photos from her journey. The starting point in the village Les Houches, 1,008 meters above sea level.     A suspension bridge over the water flowing from the glaciers on the top of the mountain, 1,650 meters above sea level.     A beautiful valley near Refuge de Miage, 1,550 meters above sea level.     Close to the La Balme Pass, 1,708 meters above sea level.     Sheep on the way to Col de Fours, 2,665 meters above sea level.     At 1,864 meters above sea level, near Refuge des Mottets, there is a tiny house awaiting travelers.      En route to the French-Italian border.         Col de la Seigne, a neutral area between the borders of France and Italy, at 2,516 meters above sea level.     Val Vany Valley, at 2,165 meters above sea level.             Refugio Giorgio Bertone, 1,996 meters above sea level.       The border between Italy and Switzerland - the Grand Col Ferret - is 2,537 meters above sea level.     On the way, they pass through a small Swiss village.     Champex Lake, at an altitude of 1,466 meters above sea level.     Refuge Les Grands, at 2,113 meters above sea level.           Lac Blanc, at 2,352 meters above sea level.
