ഗാസ: അവസാനിക്കാത്ത ആക്രമണം
മരണം 600 കടന്ന് കുതിക്കുന്നു ഏറ്റുമുട്ടല്‍ വെസ്റ്റ് ബാങ്കിലേക്കും അഭയാര്‍ഥികള്‍ ലക്ഷം കവിഞ്ഞു
ഗാസ സിറ്റി: ജൂലായ് എട്ടിന് തുടങ്ങിയ ഗാസ ആക്രമണം ഇസ്രായേല്‍ പതിനഞ്ചാം ദിവസമായ ചൊവ്വാഴ്ചയും തുടര്‍ന്നു. ഇതുവരെ മരിച്ച പലസ്തീനികളുടെ എണ്ണം 600 കവിഞ്ഞു. 27 സൈനികരുള്‍പ്പെടെ 29 ഇസ്രാേയലികളും ഏറ്റുമുട്ടലില്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. കഴിഞ്ഞദിവസം ഹമാസിന്റെ പിടിയിലായ സൈനികന്‍ മരിച്ചതായി ഇസ്രായേല്‍ സ്ഥിരീകരിച്ചു.
ഗാസയിലെ വെടിനിര്‍ത്തല്‍ ശ്രമങ്ങളുടെ ഭാഗമായി യു.എന്‍. സെക്രട്ടറി ജനറല്‍ ബാന്‍ കി മൂണും യു.എസ്. വിദേശ സെക്രട്ടറി ജോണ്‍ കെറിയും ഈജിപ്ത് തലസ്ഥാനമായ കയ്‌റോയില്‍ ചര്‍ച്ചകള്‍ക്ക്‌ േനതൃത്വം നല്‍കുകയാണ്. ചൊവ്വാഴ്ച കെറി, ഈജിപ്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റ് അബ്ദുല്‍ ഫത്താ അല്‍സിസി, വിദേശസെക്രട്ടറി സമേ ഷൂക്രി എന്നിവരുമായി ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തി. ദുരിതാശ്വാസ പ്രവര്‍ത്തനങ്ങള്‍ക്കായി ഗാസയ്ക്ക് 283 കോടി രൂപ നല്‍കുമെന്ന് കെറി അറിയിച്ചു. ഈജിപ്ത് മുന്നോട്ടുവെച്ച വെടിനിര്‍ത്തല്‍ നിര്‍ദേശം അംഗീകരിക്കണമെന്ന് കെറി ഹമാസിനോട് ആവശ്യപ്പെട്ടു. ബാന്‍ കി മൂണ്‍ ഈജിപ്ത് പ്രസിഡന്റുമായി പ്രത്യേകം ചര്‍ച്ച നടത്തുന്നുണ്ട്.
ഇസ്രായേലോ ഹമാസോ ആക്രമണങ്ങളില്‍നിന്ന് പിന്മാറാനുള്ള സന്നദ്ധത ഇതുവരെ പ്രകടിപ്പിച്ചിട്ടില്ല. ഹമാസിന്റെ വേരുകള്‍ തകര്‍ക്കുന്നതിന് മുന്‍പ് വെടിനിര്‍ത്തല്‍ കരാറില്‍ ഏര്‍പ്പെടാന്‍ തിടുക്കമില്ലെന്നാണ് ഇസ്രായേല്‍ നിലപാട്. തങ്ങള്‍ ഉന്നയിച്ച ആവശ്യങ്ങളില്‍ തീരുമാനമാവാതെ വെടിനിര്‍ത്തുന്നതിനോട് ഹമാസും താത്പര്യം കാട്ടുന്നില്ല.
ചൊവ്വാഴ്ചത്തെ ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ ഗാസയില്‍ ഗര്‍ഭിണിയുള്‍പ്പെടെ മുപ്പതിലധികം പേര്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. അഞ്ചുപേര്‍ ഒരേ കുടുംബത്തിലേയാണ്. ഇതുവരെ ഒരു ലക്ഷത്തിലധികം ഗാസക്കാര്‍ പലായനം ചെയ്തു. 3,640 പേര്‍ക്ക് പരിക്കേറ്റു. ഏറ്റുമുട്ടല്‍ വെസ്റ്റ്ബാങ്കിലേക്കും വ്യാപിക്കുന്നതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ടുകള്‍ സൂചിപ്പിക്കുന്നു. തിങ്കളാഴ്ച രാത്രി ഇസ്രായേല്‍ ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ ഗാസയിലെ അഞ്ച് പള്ളികളും കായികസമുച്ചയവും തകര്‍ന്നു. ഇതില്‍ കുടുംബത്തിലെ 28 പേര്‍ കൊല്ലപ്പെട്ടു. ഹമാസ് റോക്കറ്റുകള്‍ ഉപയോഗിച്ചുള്ള പ്രത്യാക്രമണം തുടരുകയാണ്. തിങ്കളാഴ്ചത്തെ ഹമാസ് ആക്രമണത്തില്‍ തങ്ങളുടെ ഒമ്പത് സൈനികര്‍ മരിച്ചതായി ഇസ്രായേല്‍ അറിയിച്ചു.
