Wonderful Pictures of Night Sky Petunias! These flowers appear to have the night sky captured in their very petals. Night Sky Petunias, which are a variation of the Petunia cultivar flower, are a deep purple in color. The little white specks that are present on their petals resemble stars in far-off galaxies. These variations in color are a result of the large fluctuations in day and night-time temperatures. In fact, they need to be kept warm during the day and cool at night in order for the spectacular pattern to emerge. Take a look at these glorious flowers:
