ایک بادشاہ کے مصاحب نے محل سے ایک کافی بڑا موتیوں کا ہار قیمتی سمجھ کر چرا لیا۔

لیکن جب کسی جوہری سے مشورہ کیا تو معلوم ہوا کہ ہار تو نقلی ہے۔

گھر لا کر رکھ دیا کہ اچانک اسکا سب سے بڑا بیٹا آگیا اور ہار کا پوچھا تو مصاحب بولا تم لے لو۔اتنے میں دوسرا بیٹا آگیا اس نے بھی ہار کا مطالبہ کیا تو باپ بولا آدھا آدھا بانٹ لو۔جب ہار توڑ کر تقسیم کیا گیا تو ایک موتی بڑھ گیا۔پھر باری باری تیسرا، چوتھا، پانچواں اور چھٹا بیٹا بھی آگیا مگر ہر بار موتیوں کی تقسیم کے بعد ایک موتی بچتا رہا۔

بالآخر اسکا ساتواں بیٹا بھی آگیا اس بار جو موتی تقسیم کییے تو سب کو برابر برابر تقسیم ہو گے اور کویی موتی نہ بچا

 

کیا آپ بتا ییں گے کہ کل کتنے موتی تھے؟
